How to set the number of products in Magento 2 product listing / Category page?



Suppose you have a website and you want to change the number of the products loading on the Category/Product listing page (PLP), this is very simple and you can do it just by using the Magento admin, In this post I am just describing the steps to set the number of products in Magento 2 product listing / Category page?, just follow the steps given below:

Step 1 : Just login to the Magento 2 admin.
Step 2 : After login navigate to the Store > Configuration

Step 4 : Now click on the Storefront in right side and from here you can update the Numbers of the product which you need per page on the frontend like this :

Suppose if you have the Grid(default)/List enable on the front listing page like this :

so in this case you need to setup the Number of the products in the Grid View and List View both :

1. Like in the Grid View if you want 20 product per page then you need to do the setup like this:
– Products per Page on Grid Default Value : 20
– Products per Page on Grid Allowed Values : 20,40,60 like this :

2. If you need to show different numbers of the products in list view lets suppose only 5 products to show in the list view then you need to do it like this:
– Products per Page on List Allowed Values : 5,10,15,20,25
– Products per Page on List Default Value : 5 like this :

Then it will show the 5 product per page like this :
